Black Butterflies & Déjà Vu (Typography)

To familiarize ourselves with Adobe After Effects, we were tasked to create a typography lyric video for computer graphic fundamentals class. The song I chose, Black Butterflies & Déjà Vu by The Maine, felt fitting as I wanted to explore typography with a set theme in mind. In this case, the song album cover's colour schemes of black and purple, as well as butterfly imagery.
