This piece was done for the werewolf prompt given in my fourth semester digital sculpting class, and was my first attempt at using Blender. I wanted to go for an eerie approach as opposed to the muscular werewolves as often portrayed in media. My design is heavily inspired by the Egyptian god of death, Anubis, as well as monsters from the uncanny valley. While working on the project, I often asked myself "what more can I do to make it appear creepier?" to push the boundaries of my eerie design.
The wolf's fur was created with path curves, and his bottomwear with the cloth modifier.
Modeled in Blender and textured in Substance Painter.
